The £23 m Baltic Quarter Gateshead Multi Storey Car Park provided Centurion further repeat business with the Willmott Dixon team, following on from a previous Baltic quarter project the £12.8m ‘Riga’ office development in 2020, which provided the first Grade-A office building in the Gateshead Quays area for over a decade.
The 10 storey MSCP was provided with two firefighting shafts and two protected stairs alongside BSEN 12845 suppression and back of house mechanical smoke extract – designed to evacuate a large volume of people due to its expected use a car park utilised for the nearby Arena.
