Fire Engineering Judgements

Building Regulations require that Fire Safety provisions, systems and products are performance assured.

Where this cannot be achieved due to no exact manufacturers tested detail, then Centurions Fire Engineers have the required competence and knowledge to provide comprehensive and impartial Engineered Judgements and Technical Notes in accordance with BS 7974, BSEN 15725 & CIBSE Guide E to assess and consider suitability.

EJs may be required for a variety of reasons, perhaps field of application or when aspects of the building design be it new build or retrospective deviate away from traditional construction methods including the use of new and innovative technologies and materials.

Fire Risk Assessments

When it comes to fire safety compliance and fire risk assessments – we are the company to come to.

Centurion have carried out Fire Risk Assessments in factories, stadiums, heritage buildings, the arts, hospitals, the automotive industry, hospices, mental health establishments, custodial premises, factories, residential, offices, shops, agricultural, warehouses and wind farms.

We audit your premises, make the responsible person aware of any immediate significant findings, collate a report and send direct to you so that any action can be taken without delay. Any queries or clarifications on rectifying findings or timelines and justifications to build these into your budget can be justified accordingly.

​Many of our clients have us on rolling contract. This allows us to attend and re audit whenever there is a material change or significant change in the risk, otherwise we will revisit to maintain compliance within 12 months of the original audit.
